🧳 7:30 AM | Hotel Lobby – Meet & Move
We meet at your Tokyo hotel, check out together, and take the train from Shinjuku with your luggage.
💼With a guide: No stress! I’ll help with navigating elevators, ticketing, and luggage service.
🚃 8:20 – 9:55 AM | Romancecar to Hakone-Yumoto
Enjoy a comfortable ride with great mountain views.
🧳 10:00 – 10:15 AM | Luggage Drop-Off Service
At Hakone-Yumoto Station, we send your bags straight to your hotel — so you’re hands-free all day.

🚃 10:15 – 10:55 AM | Scenic Train Ride to Gora
Ride the nostalgic Hakone Tozan Railway — famous for its zigzag switchbacks
🚞 11:00 – 11:15 PM | Cable Car to Sounzan
We ride the steep cable car — there’s even a free foot bath with a view!
🚡 11:15 – 11:25 PM | Ropeway to Owakudani
Float over volcanic valleys on the ropeway — unforgettable views for all ages.
🌋 11:25 – 12:00 PM | Explore Owakudani
This active volcanic area is home to famous black eggs (said to extend your life by 7 years!).
Kids and adults alike love the dramatic scenery.
🍱 12:00 – 1:00 PM | Lunch with a view. Check if it’s Allergy-Safe!
Dine with a view at Owakudani. The menchi-katsu set meal is a safe option for dairy & tomato allergies (yes, I confirmed with the restaurant!).
🍚Hakone has limited options of restaurants compared to big cities, since it is a mountain area. When you have picky eaters or allergies in the family, I’ll call ahead and make sure there’s something for everyone.
🚡 1:00 – 1:20 PM | Ropeway to Lake Ashi
Possibly catch Mt. Fuji on the way! But it is only 20%, so we never know the mouintain weather.
🚠Hakone Ropeway is flat, and wheelchair/stroller friendly!
🛳️ 1:35 – 2:05 PM | Pirate Ship Cruise
Ride the fun Hakone Pirate Ship across Lake Ashi — kids LOVE this part, as well as adults!
🚢 These pirates must very wheelchair/ stroller-friendly. Entrance is flat, and the ship has an elevator inside too! First floor is nice and not crowded.
🏯 2:05 – 2:50 PM | Hakone Checkpoint Walk
Step back in time to the Edo period.
Explore samurai exhibits and enjoy lake views. Easy walking paths for all ages.
Well, to be honest on this day, it was raining. So we could not see the view like this. Hakone weather changes a lot, and especially where the altitude is high, you can not expect stable weather. But if you do, you are lucky!
🚌 2:50 – 3:40 PM | Bus to Gora
A comfortable ride back toward the station. I’ll manage transfers and timing.
🖼️ 3:45 PM | Hakone Open-Air Museum (Optional)
If energy allows, we can add this incredible outdoor art museum — with Picasso pieces and family-friendly installations.
🎨 I usually recommend this place in the afternoon, since even if it get crowded, it does not go too bad, since it’s outdoors! Especially must-visit for any art lover or family with kids. It is huge, I’m happy to adjust based on your pace!’

今回は、東京から箱根への日帰り旅をご案内しました。過去のお客様の紹介です。小さなお子さま連れではなく成人の米国からのご家族でしたが、それでも電車の乗り継ぎやランチの手配、観光の順番などを考えるのは意外と大変。事前にやりとりをして、決定しました。ベーシックなゴールデンルートが良いとのことでした。
特に子連れ旅となると、親はヘトヘトになりがちです。
でも、ガイドがいれば、工程はまるごとカスタマイズできるし、移動も食事もリラックスして楽しめます。歴史や文化の背景を知りながら観光できるのも、プライベートツアーならでは。
実際、電車・ケーブルカー・ロープウェイ・船などを焦らず乗り継ぐには、ちょっとしたコツが必要です。でも、事前に流れを把握しておけば、ベビーカーでも楽しめる旅ができます！
それでは、下記が今回のお客様の工程例です。箱根滞在が1日しかなかったので、少し詰め込んでいます。伊おむつ替えとベビーカー情報を出しますね。
🔶7:30 ホテルorお家出発 → 小田急新宿駅へ
まずはホテルまたは都内のお家を出て、電車で小田急新宿駅へ向かいます。
▶ベビーカー利用：可。ただしエレベーターが構内待つことが多いので注意
▶おむつ替え：小田急新宿の１Fトイレにはおむつ替えあり
荷物はこの後、箱根湯本駅で配送できるホテルを選べば安心！ただし、我ら家族は元々ベビーカーの下に乗せられる分しか持っていきません。
🔶8:20〜9:55 ロマンスカーで箱根湯本へ
ロマンスカーは全席指定で、ゆったり快適！小さなお子さんがいても、騒いでしまう心配が少なく、親もリラックスできます。
▶ベビーカー：車内持ち込み可。５号車８号車が便利
▶おむつ替え：車両内におむつ替えシート付きトイレあり
💡ワンポイント：新宿駅の西口側にお弁当売り場あり8時から空いてるので、ここで朝ごはんを車内でゆっくり食べるのも◎。
🔶10:00〜10:15 箱根湯本駅で荷物をホテルへ配送
到着後、駅前の「キャリーサービス」でホテルへ荷物を送ります。（該当ホテルのみ可能）
▶通常サイズ：1,000円／大型：2,500円
▶ホテルによっては宿泊当日の朝着が可能です
💡これを利用するだけで、「重いスーツケース＋ベビーカー＋子ども抱っこ」の苦行から解放されます！
🔶10:15〜10:55 箱根登山電車で強羅へ
箱根登山鉄道は、スイッチバック式で有名なレトロな電車。
移動しながらも車窓からの景色が楽しめるので、お子さんも飽きにくいです。でも混雑することも。
▶ベビーカー：可（混雑時はたたんだ方が安心）
▶おむつ替え：強羅駅に多目的トイレあり
🔶10:55〜11:15 ケーブルカーで早雲山へ
強羅からのケーブルカーは狭いですが早雲山駅には足湯のある休憩所もあり、旅の中休みにぴったり！
▶ベビーカー：可（ただし混雑時は階段利用あり）
▶足湯と景色で一息：お子さんと一緒に外でリフレッシュ！
🔶11:15〜12:00 ロープウェイで大涌谷へ＋散策＋食事
ロープウェイからは雄大な山と谷の絶景が！
大涌谷では「黒たまご」を食べたり、火山ガスのもくもくした景色を楽しんだり、ちょっとした冒険気分が味わえます。
▶ベビーカー：通路は舗装あり。混雑時は抱っこ紐が便利
▶おむつ替え：大涌谷駅に多目的トイレあり
▶注意：硫黄のにおいが強いので、赤ちゃん連れは短時間滞在がおすすめ
大涌谷食堂はカレー好きなお子さんにおすすめ。席が多いから予約せずとも空いてる！
🔶13:30〜14:00 芦ノ湖・海賊船クルーズ
子どもが喜ぶポイントNo.1！
「海賊船」に乗って湖を30分ほどクルーズします。中は広く、ベビーカーでも安心です。
▶ベビーカー：乗船可能（スタッフがサポートしてくれます）
▶雨天でも安心：船内に室内スペースあり
🔶14:10〜14:50 箱根関所・湖畔の歴史散策
江戸時代の旅人たちを取り締まった「箱根関所」では、侍の装備や当時の道具などが展示されていて、大人も子どもも歴史に触れられるスポットです。
▶ベビーカー：敷地内は舗装道あり。階段のある展示室は抱っこがおすすめ
▶おむつ替え：関所資料館の建物にトイレあり
💡余裕があれば、近くの箱根神社にも立ち寄れます（湖に浮かぶ赤い鳥居が名物）
🔶14:50〜15:40 バスで強羅駅へ戻る
芦ノ湖から強羅駅まではバスで戻ります。バスはベビーカー折りたたみが必要な場合もあるので、抱っこ紐があると便利です。
▶ベビーカー：可能（混雑時は折りたたみ）
▶おむつ替え：バス乗り場にはなし（強羅駅でOK）
🔶15:40〜16:00 （オプション）強羅駅 → 彫刻の森美術館へ
余裕があれば「箱根彫刻の森美術館」へ。でも時間的に詰め込みすぎなので、翌日にゆったりと訪問する方がおすすめです。体力に余裕があればこのタイミングで行くこともできます。
▶ベビーカー：館内全体で利用可能（屋外展示が多い）
▶おむつ替え：美術館内に清潔な多目的トイレあり
💡屋外展示が多く、走り回れる広場もあるので、元気な子どもにぴったり！私たち家族も大好きで何度もリピートしています。私の親や、アメリカの義父母も連れていきましたし、ゲストも連れていきました。３世代楽しめる場所！
🔶17:00 バイバイ箱根！または宿泊予定の旅館へ
いかがでしたか。
今回は箱根が初の人のためのゴールデンルートだったのと、東京から行く場合で組んでいるので、正直多少の交通機関の混雑は避けられず。朝早くに箱根についたほうが混雑は少ないですし、または逆に午後3時以降にのれば空いてたりします。
雨も降っていたので少しだけ変更もありましたが、だいたい予定通りに過ごすことができました。
