お部屋 Room
お部屋は明るいダブルの部屋が多いです。そこにベビーベッドをつけてもらいます。とはいえ夜中に起きてしまった後は結局大人と一緒に寝ることが多いので、4人家族以上の場合、ダブルルームの方が安全。ハイアットリージェンシーは部屋数が多いので、かなり部屋の希望が通りやすいのです。
そして我らはハイアット愛用者でステータスが一番高いグローバリスト会員だからか、毎回40階以上の高層階にアサインされました。シアトルの街並みや海、フェリーが見えて、さらにその先の遠山々まで見渡せる絶景が楽しめます。
特に角部屋は廊下部分にも窓がありさらに広々としており、2方向に窓があるので昼間は光がたっぷり入り、夜は輝く夜景にうっとりします。
部屋にはふかふかのベッド、冷蔵庫、コーヒーメーカー、ワークデスク、椅子が二つとテーブルが揃っていて、夜は部屋で食べるコトが多い小さい子連れでも快適に過ごせます。
バスタブ付きの部屋は少なくレインシャワーで上の娘は嫌がるのですが、大人にとってはシャワーの水圧が強めで気持ち良い。

Bathtub rooms are rare, and the rain shower can be disliked by older kids, but the strong water pressure is refreshing for adults.

このホテルでの一番良いところはラウンジ！広くて、大抵なぜか人がいなくて、子供たちが走り回れるスペースが内・外ともにたくさんあるのです。
ここに常にフルーツが置いてあったり、下の娘が欲しがる牛乳や、Churioというシリアルがあるので、飲み物やおやつにも助かります。美味しいラテマシーンも。ここのキャラメルラテ、結構美味しい。ホテルの一歩外で買うとコーヒーいっぱい10ドル（1500円）とかするので、ほんとに美味しいものが欲しい時以外結構充分。

リージェンシーの朝食はANDAREにて、ビュッフェ形式。新鮮なフルーツ、卵料理、パン、シリアル、ヨーグルト、スモークサーモンまで揃っていて、つい食べ過ぎてしまいます。味は十分美味しいのですが、正直なところお向かいにあるハイアットOlive 8のレストラン、TIDALの朝食の味の方がもっと印象に残るかも・・？
子連れにも優しく、ハイチェアやキッズメニュー、さらにクレヨンがもらえます。キッズドリンクを頼むと可愛いカップで来ることにも子供は大喜び。持ち帰りもできます。
