2月、家族4人（3歳＆1歳の子ども）で１ヶ月タイとマレーシアで過ごしました。
タイでは、チェンマイ、バンコクの後の３都市目、プーケットへ。
高級ビーチで有名なカマラビーチに佇む5つ星リゾート、ハイアット リージェンシー プーケットへへ4泊5日宿泊してきました。
美しいプーケットの海を一望するこのホテルは、贅沢なリゾート感だけでなく、なんといってもファミリー向けの充実した設備が魅力！！
正直チェンマイとバンコクで、特にバンコクで疲れてたので、ここで心も体も癒されました。
ラグジュアリーながら子連れに最高なホテルだったので、詳しくレビューしていきます！
ホテル概要
カマラビーチに位置するハイアット リージェンシー プーケットは、雄大なアンダマン海を望むラグジュアリーリゾート。
ファミリー、カップル、友人同士と、幅広い層に愛されるホテルです。
プーケットの伝統文化、圧巻のサンセット、豊かな自然が融合し、非日常を味わえる空間。
リゾート内は広々としており、ゆったりとした滞在が楽しめます。
ロビー＆チェックイン
ホテルに到着すると、開放感あふれるロビーで爽やかなウェルカムドリンクをいただきながらチェックイン。
スタッフはとても親切で、ファミリーへの対応も慣れている印象。
今回、お部屋がアップグレードしてもらえたそう✨バンコクのグランドハイアットに引き続き、やったー！

お部屋（オーシャンビュープール付きクラブアクセスルーム）
部屋を開けたらびっくり！プール付き！
オーシャンビュー クラブアクセス付きのプール付きルーム（48㎡.）にツインベッド2台、専用プール付きという最高の条件！
バルコニーからは美しいアンダマン海が広がり、朝も夕方も絶景が楽しめます。
専用のプライベートプールは、他のゲストを気にせず子どもたちと水遊びできるのが最高でした。
何にも用意しなくても、着替えれば飛び込めるプールって最高。
そしてラウンジも近いのが良かった。
一番下の大きなプールまでは遠いのでバギーを呼ぶことになっていますが、歩いても5-10分なので子供達と歩きました。
登る時はまあ坂が結構きついので、呼ぶこともありました。
お部屋、他にも２ベッドルームのファミリースイートや、二段ベッドの部屋などもあるそうです。さすがファミリーフレンドリーな宿。
プーケットにきたらまたここに泊まると思うので、ぜひ次はこちらにもアップグレードされたい（笑）
キッズクラブ最高！
子連れにとって最高だったのがキッズクラブ！
おもちゃや遊具が充実していて、スタッフも優しく、子どもたちは大喜び。
座っていれば全部見えるくらいの広すぎないサイズもよく、工作やタイ語授業などのレッスンもあります。
４歳からは一日中預かりも可能。
うちは上の子が３歳半だったものの、かなり自立している子なので大丈夫だろうと、一時的に預かってくれたりしました。（こういうフレキシブルさが日本にはなくて好き。タイらしい）
上の子は積極的に話しかけ、年上の子たちともすぐに仲良くなりました。
そして私もおなじ幼児のまま友達が二人もできたりしてとても楽しかった！
アメリカ人のママは４歳と１歳の姉妹がいて歳が近かったし、ロンドン在住のオランダ人のママは１歳の下の子と同じ月齢。
つまり、同じように旅好きで幼児のいるママと、旅の大変さを話しつつ、情報交換したりできたのは私にとってすごくリフレッシュになりました。
キッズクラブに行けばスタッフとも会えるし、友達にも会える。
正直このキッズルームがあったおかげで、一人が子供二人をここで見て、もう一人はゆったりすることができるので、このホテルはこの旅で一番リラックスできました。朝食も順番に食べられるしね！
この時間ない預かりも自由にできるキッズクラブ、ドバイ・アメリカ・ハワイ・タイ旅してきて、ラグジュアリーホテルはかなりの確率であります。日本のホテルでも、もっと増えたらいいのに！！

クラブラウンジが美しくて美味しい
丘の上にあるクラブラウンジ。ラウンジアクセス付きの部屋だったので、毎日午後の軽食や夕食を楽しめました。
特に夕方のカクテルタイムは軽食を超えたクオリティ。
高無料でシャンパンやカナッペ、どころかちゃんとしたタンパク質、野菜、主食、デザートが揃い、飲み物はお酒も含めなんでも飲み放題。
ファミリー向けに落ち着いた時間を過ごせるラウンジがあるのは本当に助かります。
５日間で、タイアイスティーここで何倍飲んだだろうか。
朝食
「All Day Dining The Pool House」でビュッフェ形式の朝食
広くて高級感あるレストラン。
メインプールのプールサイドと、キッズクラブの横にある（重要）！
タイ料理とアメリカン、イタリアンの定番料理が多いです。
作り立てのグリル料理や焼きたてのデニッシュがとても人気。
朝食会場ですが夜はイタリアンも。
恒例の宿泊客チェック。バンコクで泊まったグランドハイアットやキンプトンよりもさらに、欧米人が多い。
というかそれしかいない？
そしてファミリー旅行が圧倒的に多く、そしてそうじゃなかったら女性何人ものグループ旅行など多い。あとはカップルも。
もちろん、ベビーチェアやキッズメニューもあり、レストランでも快適に過ごせました。
BAR
初日、レディースナイトということで
ホテル内のCASA BOHOというメキシカン料理&バーに行きました。タイなのにメキシコ？て感じですが、ハイアットはアメリカのブランドでアメリカのお客さんが多いので、メキシカンが好まれるのも納得です。
ここが、メキシカンなインテリアも可愛いし、景色が絶景！！
カップルや大人がメインですが、早い時間だったからか子供もOKでした。
結局レディーではない夫の分のカクテルを頼んだのでそれが10ドル以上しましたが（笑）、
とても素敵な空間でした。
アボカドのグアカモラも、マルガリータも美味しかった。ナチョスと言われて、これは違うと思ったけど笑
プール＆施設
海と繋がって見えるインフィニティプールは広い！プーケット最大級！
カマラビーチと繋がり絶景で、まるで海に浮かんでいるような開放感。
日陰がないのがネック、かと思いきや、子供向けに浅い部分には日除があるので助かりました。
プールでのアクティビティプランもすごく充実してて
私たちはプール内ダンスや、プール脇でのヨガクラスも楽しみました。

スタッフが丁寧に説明してくれて、クラゲに餌やりもできました。
シャトルバスサービス
ホテルからの移動は、専用のシャトルバスが便利でした。トラックの後ろにみんなで乗るスタイル。近くのカマラビーチに行く前には、とても便利ですよ。
もちろん目の前のカマラビーチへは道渡るだけなので、歩いても行けます
サンセットが綺麗・・・！ホテル宿泊者用の、寝っ転がれるソファもありました。
アクセス（ここがネック…）
⚠️空港からの距離が遠い！
- Grabタクシーの利用必須で、プーケットはGrabが高い。
- プーケット国際空港から車で50分とあるが、実際には約2時間近くかかった。プーケットの渋滞はひどいと有名
- 長くて疲れたのか、道中娘が車酔いしてしまった…😢かわいそう
⚠️立地はリゾート向け
- カマラビーチには比較的近い（車で約15分）
- しかし、オールドタウンや他の街へは遠いので、基本はリゾートステイメインに。
「観光よりも落ち着いてホテルでのんびりしたい！」という人にはピッタリですが、
ナイトスポット近くに泊まって夜遊びを楽しみたい方、観光スポットへのアクセスが良く移動が楽なホテルに泊まりたい方には少し不便かも。
こんな人におすすめ！
✅ キッズクラブで遊ばせながら子どもとリゾートでゆっくり過ごしたい家族
✅ プライベートプール付きの部屋を楽しみたい人
✅ クラブラウンジで優雅な時間を過ごしたい人
✅ ホテルで完結する滞在を求める人
特に子連れにはキッズルーム＆プライベートプール付きの部屋が最高だったので、ファミリーステイにはかなりおすすめです✨
最後に…
このホテル、普通に泊まるとかなりの金額ですが、今回もグランドハイアットバンコクと同じく、ある方法でお得に泊まることができました！

In February, our family of four (with a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old) spent a month in Thailand and Malaysia. After visiting Chiang Mai and Bangkok, our third destination in Thailand was Phuket. We stayed for five days and four nights at the Hyatt Regency Phuket, a 5-star resort nestled on the famous Kamala Beach.
This hotel offers breathtaking ocean views and an unparalleled luxury resort experience, but what truly sets it apart is its family-friendly amenities! Honestly, after the busyness of Chiang Mai and especially Bangkok, this place was a perfect retreat for us to unwind and recharge.
Since this hotel was both luxurious and incredibly family-friendly, I’m excited to share a detailed review!
Hotel Overview
Located on Kamala Beach, Hyatt Regency Phuket is a luxurious resort overlooking the majestic Andaman Sea. Loved by families, couples, and friends alike, this hotel blends Phuket’s rich cultural heritage, stunning sunsets, and lush natural surroundings, creating a truly extraordinary escape.
With expansive grounds, the resort offers a relaxed and spacious experience, perfect for an unforgettable stay.
Lobby & Check-in
Upon arrival, we were welcomed in the open-air lobby with a refreshing welcome drink. The staff was incredibly friendly and experienced in assisting families, which made check-in smooth and pleasant.
To our delight, we were upgraded to a better room! Just like at the Grand Hyatt Bangkok—what a win! ✨
Our Room: Ocean View Pool with Club Access
When we opened the door, we were shocked—our room had a private pool!
We stayed in the Ocean View Pool Room with Club Access (48㎡), featuring two twin beds and a private pool. The balcony offered breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea, making every morning and evening magical.
The private pool was perfect for us—no need to worry about other guests, just relaxing water play with the kids. Having a pool right outside the room was incredibly convenient.
Another perk? The Club Lounge was nearby, which made snacking and relaxing even easier.
Although the resort’s main infinity pool was quite far, we could either call a buggy or walk about 5–10 minutes. Going downhill was easy, but for the way back up, we sometimes used the buggy.
The hotel also offers Family Suites with two bedrooms and rooms with bunk beds, making it ideal for families. Next time we visit Phuket, we’ll definitely hope for another upgrade! 😆
Amazing Kids Club!
One of the best parts of this hotel was the Kids Club!
It was packed with toys, play equipment, and friendly staff, making it a dream for young children. The size was just right—not too big, so we could always keep an eye on our kids. They also offered craft activities and Thai language lessons.
For kids aged 4 and up, the club offers full-day care. Although our older child was only 3.5 years old, she is quite independent, so they kindly made an exception and looked after her temporarily. (Love the flexibility! Unlike Japan, Thailand is much more accommodating.)
Our daughter quickly made new friends, even with older kids. Meanwhile, I also made two new mom friends!
- One was an American mom with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old, similar to us.
- The other was a Dutch mom from London, whose youngest was the same age as my baby.
It was such a refreshing experience to bond with other travel-loving moms. We shared stories about the joys and struggles of traveling with young kids while exchanging travel tips.
Since the Kids Club was a great meeting spot, I knew I could always find staff, fellow parents, or playmates there. Thanks to this, I could finally relax the most during our entire trip!
Club Lounge: Stunning & Delicious
Perched on a hilltop, the Club Lounge provided breathtaking views and amazing food. Since we had Club Access, we enjoyed daily afternoon snacks and evening cocktail hours.
The evening cocktail hour was beyond expectations—it wasn’t just snacks; it was a full meal with champagne, canapés, proteins, vegetables, and desserts. And yes, all drinks, including alcohol, were free-flowing! 🍸
For families, having a quiet and elegant lounge to unwind in was invaluable. I probably drank way too many Thai iced teas here over five days!
Breakfast at The Pool House
The breakfast buffet at All Day Dining The Pool House was a luxurious experience.
📍 Located next to the main pool and right beside the Kids Club (very important!).
The buffet featured a mix of Thai, American, and Italian cuisine, with made-to-order grill dishes and freshly baked pastries. In the evening, the restaurant transformed into an Italian dining spot.
🌍 Guest Demographics:
Compared to the Grand Hyatt Bangkok and Kimpton, this hotel had even more Western guests—in fact, it seemed like there were only Western families!
Most guests were either families with kids or groups of female travelers, with some couples as well.
Of course, the restaurant provided high chairs and a kids’ menu, ensuring a comfortable dining experience for families.
CASA BOHO: The Hotel’s Mexican Bar
On the first night, I visited CASA BOHO, the hotel’s Mexican-themed bar & restaurant, for Ladies’ Night.
🇲🇽 Though surprising to find Mexican cuisine in Thailand, it made sense since Hyatt is an American brand, catering to American guests who love Mexican food.
The decor was stylish, and the view was incredible! Although it’s mainly a spot for adults and couples, children were allowed in the early evening.
🍹 My husband wasn’t technically a “lady,” so we had to order his cocktail separately (for $10+! 😆). The guacamole was excellent, though!
Infinity Pool & Facilities
The massive infinity pool blends seamlessly with the ocean, making it one of Phuket’s largest pools! The view of Kamala Beach gives the illusion of floating on water.
☀️ No shade? Luckily, shallow areas for kids had sunshades, which was a lifesaver.
🏊♀️ The hotel also offers poolside activities, including water aerobics and yoga.
Shuttle Bus Service
The hotel provides a shuttle bus to nearby Kamala Beach, which was very convenient. However, the beach is also just across the street, so we often walked. Sunsets were magical, and the beachfront lounge chairs were perfect for relaxing.
Access (The Downside…)
⚠️ Far from the airport!
- Grab taxis are expensive in Phuket.
- While the official drive time from Phuket Airport is 50 minutes, we actually took nearly 2 hours due to heavy traffic.
- Our daughter even got car sick on the way… 😢
⚠️ Not ideal for city exploration
- Kamala Beach is fairly close (15 min by car).
- However, Old Town and other city areas are far, making this a resort-focused stay.
💡 Perfect for those who want to relax at the resort but not ideal for night owls or city explorers.

Final Thoughts…
This hotel is quite pricey, but we managed to stay here affordably using a special method—just like we did at the Grand Hyatt Bangkok!
