ハイアット プレイス バンコク スクンビット24は、バンコクの中心部に位置するホテルで、BTSプロンポン駅から徒歩圏内にあります。高級ショッピングモール「エンポリアム」と「エムクオーティエ」にも近く、周辺には日本食レストランやマッサージ店が多く立ち並ぶエリアです。観光にもビジネスにも便利な立地が魅力のホテルです。
家族4人での滞在レビュー（3歳＆1歳の子連れ旅行）
私たちは2月に1か月間、タイとマレーシアを旅行しました。タイではチェンマイ、バンコク、プーケットの3都市を訪れ、マレーシアではクアラルンプールに滞在。バンコクでの滞在先として選んだのが、ハイアット プレイス バンコク スクンビット24でした。
このホテルを選んだ理由は、立地の良さ・コストパフォーマンス・快適な滞在ができること。バンコクにはラグジュアリーホテルも多いですが、「便利さとコスパを重視したい」「観光の拠点にしたい」という方にぴったりのホテルです。
良かったポイント
① 駅近でアクセスが抜群！
バンコクでは、道路の渋滞がとにかくひどいので、電車（BTS）での移動ができる立地が重要です。
このホテルは、BTSプロンポン駅から徒歩5〜6分の距離にあり、ショッピングモール「エンポリアム」の横を通り、スクンビット24アレー（Sukhumvit 24 Alley）を進むと右手にあります。
このエリアは「日本人ロード」とも呼ばれ、日本食レストランやマッサージ店が多く、日本人にも人気のエリア。道が狭く、大きなスーツケースを持っていたりベビーカーだと歩道が悪いので少し歩きにくいですが、駅から徒歩圏内という点はとても便利でした。３歳の子供も歩けるくらいの距離でした。
また、スクンビットの中心部は渋滞がひどいため、車移動よりもBTSを活用できる立地がベスト。観光にもビジネスにも最適なロケーションです。目の前にはセブンイレブンもあります。
子連れファミリーとしては、近くにエンポリアムのフードコートがあるのも助かりましたし、子供向け施設が徒歩圏内にあったのもよかった。

② 驚きのコストパフォーマンス！1泊6ドル！？
今回の滞在では、ホテルのポイントを活用し、さらにプロモーションが重なったことで、なんと1泊6ドルで宿泊することができました！
バンコクのホテルは価格帯が幅広いですが、コストを抑えつつ、快適に滞在できるホテルを探している方には最適です。

③ 朝食も満足できる内容
朝食はファンシーなものではありませんが、種類も豊富で満足できる内容でした。
- フレッシュフルーツあり
- その場で作ってくれる麺料理
- アメリカンブレックファースト＆タイ料理の両方が充実
また、レストランの作りも子連れに嬉しいポイント。
キンプトンのように広すぎると、子供のいるテーブルが視界に入らず目が届きにくいですが、このホテルは程よい広さで見渡しやすかったです。
子供用のハイチェアも複数ありましたが、子供用のフォークとスプーンがなかったため、プラスチックのカトラリーを使っていました。
そして、ハイアットステイタスが、一番高い「グローバリスト」であれば朝食が無料なだけじゃなくて、同じの人も無料です。これは日本を含む他のアジアでもそうです。アジアのハイアットの方が、アメリカよりも寛容！
④スタッフのサービスが、基本はカジュアルながら適度に優しい
グランドハイアットのように恭しく清く正しくというサービスではありませんが、カジュアルに、でもハイアットブランドらしく？丁寧に話してくれるので、全体的に好感が持てました。これはまあ、みんなタイ人がフレンドリーな性格なのもあるかもしれませんね。さすが観光大国。
例えば子供用に毎日クマちゃんのパンケーキを焼いてくれて。初日は１枚だったのが、だんだん増えていき、一皿に３枚も乗せてくれた事も。子供たちは大喜びです。
ホテルの部屋について
① ソファベッド付き＆ベビーベッドのリクエスト可能
家族4人で泊まったお部屋は、ソファベッド付きの部屋でした。
ベビーベッドもリクエストすると用意してもらえたので、赤ちゃん連れでも快適に過ごせました。
② バスタブなし＆机が少なめ
お風呂にはバスタブがなく、シャワーのみでした。小さい子供がいる場合は、少し不便に感じるかもしれません。
また、机が少なめだったので、PC作業をしたい方は注意が必要です。
③ 高層階からの眺めは結構良い
私たちが泊まった部屋は８階。それでも結構良い。もっと上に行けば、バンコクの景色を一望できる眺めが楽しめまると思います。実際ルーフトップからはとても良い眺めでした。

このホテルにはクラブラウンジはありませんが、その代わりにグローバリストステータスの人は、ロビーのドリンクバーで２本、アルコールを含む飲み物を無料でもらうことができました。
まとめ｜アクティブに観光するのに最適なホテル
ハイアット プレイス バンコク スクンビット24は、高級感とカジュアル感のバランスが良い、コスパと便利さを重視したい時におすすめのホテルです。
ビジネスなどでホテル滞在時間が少ない時には便利さが優先になるので、良いと思います。
実はこの前にはグランドハイアット エラワン バンコクや、キーマラ バンコク マーライどのラグジュアリーホテルに泊まっていたのですが、貧乏性もあるし、実際に魅力が多すぎて「せっかくだからホテル中で色々しよう、ホテルでのんびりしよう」という気持ちになります。
でもここのホテルは居心地の良さもありつつ、外に出たくなる環境。
そのため、高級ホテルに数泊した後、アクティブに観光する期間に泊まるのにちょうどいいと感じました。
また、今回の滞在ではホテルポイントを利用し、その時に行っていたプロモーション２つが適用されたため、1泊6ドルという驚きの価格で宿泊できました。
しかも、ポイントで泊まると、キャンセルも結構直前までできるし、アップグレードもされるし。良いことしかないです。

In February, our family of four (with a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old) spent a month traveling through Thailand (Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Phuket) and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). During our time in Bangkok, we stayed at Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 24, a hotel that perfectly balances comfort, convenience, and cost-effectiveness.

Our room was well-designed, featuring a sofa bed for extra comfort and a baby crib upon request. Since we stayed on a higher floor, the city views were fantastic.

The hotel offers a high-quality breakfast with a wide range of choices. While it’s not an extravagant buffet like luxury hotels, it was more than satisfying.

For a hotel in this price range, the breakfast exceeded our expectations!
Like other Hyatt Place locations in Asia, the breakfast is free for Globalist status guests and paid for everyone else.
