2月後半の平日、東京ディズニーランドへ。 前回のランドは2024年4月だったので、約2年ぶりです。
今回は長女4歳、次女2歳。0歳9ヶ月・2歳だった前回とは動きも反応も全く別物で、成長を感じる一日なりました。
なんでもチャレンジしたい長女と、ジェットコースターも暗いところも怖がる次女。
平日でも学生でごった返すパークで、いかにストレスなく「子連れらしい楽しさ」を両立させるか。 我が家なりの「当日編」記録です！
ディズニーデー！ホテル宿泊は辞め、直行バスの選択
今回は都内からの直行バスを選択し、前泊/後泊のホテルはやめました。
というのも、バスで行けばパークの目の前に止めてくれるし、わざわざパッキングするのが面倒だからです。２日間以上ゆっくりするならいいけれど、私たちは翌日もやるべき仕事が詰まっていたので、日帰りにしました。
去年は泊まったんだけど、もし東京在住または都内のホテルに泊まってる人で、1日しかパークに行かないなら、ホテルは不要かも。
そして直行バスを利用しました。
これ、意外と知られていないけれど、子連れにはターミナル駅からの直行バスが絶対に楽。乗り換えの階段や駅の人混みを避け、座って寝たままゲート前まで運んでもらえるのは最大のメリットです！
7:45に到着。すでに入園前の荷物検査は列がぐわんと曲がるほど長い！ 平日のせいか、視界に入るのは制服姿の高校生・大学生ばかり。家族連れは1〜2割といったところ。 外で待つ間、2人の娘はご機嫌で踊ったりして、入園前の高揚感を楽しんでいる様子でした。
入園直後のDPA争奪戦と用語解説
ここで、今回攻略の鍵となった用語を整理。
- DPA（ディズニー・プレミアアクセス）：有料の優先入館パス。時間をお金で買うスタイル。
- プライオリティパス：無料で取得できる先着順の優先パス。
- チャイルドスイッチ：身長制限などで乗れない子がいても、大人が交代で待機することで、2人目は待ち時間なしで乗れる制度。
やっと9:15に入園。
夫曰く「ゲート付近は混むから、お城の方まで移動したほうが電波が良い」とのこと。 ベビーカーで移動しながら、夫の神がかった操作で9:30までに主要なDPAとパスを全て確保。 この朝のスピード感が、その後の「待ち時間を短縮できました」に繋がることに。
90cmの奇跡？スプラッシュ・マウンテンとキャラクター克服
9:30、まずは長女念願のスプラッシュ・マウンテンへ。
次女の身長が90cmに数センチ足りないかも……とドキドキしたけれど、キャストさんが計測して「頭が当たっているからOK！」と。実際は頭っていうかクルクルカーリーヘア・・？だけれど、髪の毛とキャストに感謝🩷
表示は70分待ちだったけれど、実際は50分ほどで搭乗。途中外を見たり、座ったりして柵に登ったりしてたら意外とあっという間でした。小さい子供がこんな待てたことにびっくり。
「最後だけ水がかかるよ」と伝えておいたら、長女はずっとジャケットで顔を隠していて、その姿に爆笑。「そこじゃないよ、最後だよ！」って。
次女は人生初のジェットコースターに一瞬泣いたものの、最後はケロリ。 降りた後、アライグマのキャラクターに自分からハイタッチしに行けたのは、先週のアンパンマンミュージアムから克服したみたい。
効率重視の午前：モバイルオーダーと空き時間の活用
10:50、少し落ち着いてウエスタンリバー鉄道へ。最後の恐竜にびっくり！
並んでいる間に夫がランチをモバイルオーダー。レストランの事前予約が取れなくても、当日キャンセル拾いで画面をリフレッシュし続けるのが大事。
11:40、魅惑のチキルーム：スティッチ・プレゼンツ“アロハ・エ・コモ・マイ！”は待ち時間ほぼゼロ。2歳と4歳には、あの鳥たちが本物に見えるんだろうな。
12:00、ランチはハングリーベア・レストランでカレーをモリモリ食べる。 移動中に次女が寝落ちしてしまい、結局一口も食べられず爆睡。でも、モバイルオーダーのおかげで受け取り待ちは0分。
怒涛の午後：チャイルドスイッチと柔軟なキャストさんの対応
13:10、ベイマックスのハッピーライド。DPA使用で5分待ち。 次女が寝ていたのでチャイルドスイッチを利用。長女は2回連続で乗れて大満足。
13:30、昼のパレード「ミニー＆ファンダーランド」。 朝イチから場所取りをしていた女子高生たちも多かったけれど、通りすがりでも後ろから充分見れた！これがディズニーのいいところ。 ここで合流した私の妹からミニーのサングラスをもらって、起きたばかりの次女も大喜び！
14:05、美女と野獣“魔法のものがたり”。 本来の予約時間に次女が寝ていたけれど、キャストさんに相談すると「起きてからで大丈夫ですよ」と柔軟な対応。実はこれ、前回もそうだったので、おそらく提案されている対応なのでしょう。優しい！ DPAで5分足らずで搭乗。次女は私の腕をギュッとしていたけれど、親子で本当に感動しました。これは絶対乗ってほしい！DPAの価値あり。
15:30以降も、ライドを効率よく満喫。
イッツアスモールワールドは、子連れの定番。前回は５分待ちだったのに対して今年は２５分待ちでしたが、子供達はキャラクター探しで大喜び。大人も座れてゆっくり楽しめます。
プーさんのハニーハントはプライオリティパスで5分待ち。「ハロー、プーさん！」「キャキャキャ」と終始手を振ってご機嫌な2人。
本格劇場に感動！フォレストシアターのショー
16:00 、長女が「どうしても行きたい」とずっと言っていた『カリブの海賊』へ。25分待ち。
次女だけじゃなくて長女もやっぱり暗くて結構怖かったみたい。そりゃ怖いよね、暗いし鉄砲打ってるし。私だって小学生の間ずっと本物の鉄砲だと思って隠れてたもん。
16:50、カフェオーリンズでパパがモバイルオーダー予約していたサンドイッチと美味しいコーヒーリキュールを。ここも待ち時間なし。
17:20、ファンタジーランド・フォレストシアターでの「ミッキーのマジカルミュージックワールド」。 これも私の希望でDPAで席を確保。本格的な劇場が本当に素晴らしい。私はディズニーランドではショーが好き！ 後から知ったのだけれど、JALマイレージの上級会員だと良い席が取れるそう。
勇気のホーンテッドマンションと自信をつけた次女
18:00、長女たっての希望でホーンテッドマンション。 通常50分のところ、パレード直前で35分待ち。 次女は前日まで嫌だーと言ってたけれど、長女が行くならと行くことにした様子。
相当怖かったはずだけど、ママの膝の上でギュッとして泣かずに耐えた！ 翌日、幼稚園の先生に「お化け屋敷に行ったの」と自慢していたから、彼女なりの自信になったのでしょう。
トゥーンタウンでの贅沢な時間とエレクトリカルパレード
19:20、エレクトリカルパレード。 トゥーンタウンの近くを確保したら、ちょうどパレードの終着地点。スタート地点より到着が遅くなるけれど、そのおかげで待っている間にトゥーンタウンの公園で遊ぶことができて、これがもう大喜び！
エレクトリカルパレードは、やっぱり綺麗だし昔から変わらないあの音楽がいいよねえ。スポンサー変わったんだねえ。子供達は半分夢みがちで、でも目をキラキラさせていました。
20:00、退園。 帰りのバスに乗り込む前、というかエレクトリカルパレードが終わった瞬間から、すでに半分寝た次女を夫が抱っこで入眠、そして長女をベビーカーで寝ていいよというとすでに半目。バスに乗る頃には二人とも爆睡。 都内まで座って帰れるバスの有り難みが身に染みる……。
【反省：もっとこうすれば良かった点】
・この日は学生が多く、どこも活気が凄まじかった。 特にファンタジーランドのあたりが激混みで、学生が写真を撮りたいスポットなのかな、と感じて長居はしませんでした。
・今回は夫がDPAを完璧に取ってくれたので助かったけれど、アトラクションを詰め込むのもいいけれど、トゥーンタウンの公園でもっと自由に遊ばせる時間を増やしても良かったかも。 とくに小さい子連れなら「アトラクションが全てではない」と考えてます。 テンションが高くなった子供たちがぴょんぴょん跳ねるのは普通なこと。混んでる場所で「気をつけて！」と言いすぎるのも嫌だったので、親も子もストレスをかけない「余白」の大切さを再確認しました。 ディズニーランドに行って、ただ公園部分で遊ぶっていう贅沢があったって良いと思う。
・昼食前子供たちも私もお腹空いてしまい、どれもモバイルオーダーまたは長蛇の列ですぐに頼めないので、なるべく早く手配すべき。それでもすぐ夫がキャンセルを拾ってくれて食べれました。

アトラクションの数が全てじゃないけれど、子連れにしてはかなり乗った方。
特に、2歳0歳の時はメインがファンタジーランドとトゥーンタウンだったのに比べ、今回は怖い・暗いところから始まるライドも多く、早すぎる成長にびっくりです。
とにかく私にとって大切なのは、子供も大人もストレスなく過ごすこと。無理して並ぶと、最後は親も子も疲れるだけなので。
適切にDPAを使い、休憩し、遊び、楽しむ。それが一番満足度が高いなと思いました。
子供達はとーっても楽しかったようで、「またミッキーに会いに行きたい」と言っていました。
わたしは中１の冬くらいからディズニーランドは友達と行くものになっていたので
上の子が私たち夫婦と一緒に行ってくれるのはあと10年もないのか。
そう思うと本当にあっという間！
子連れディズニー、まだまだ楽しみたいです！
12 Experiences in One Day with a 4 & 2-Year-Old!
We headed to Tokyo Disneyland on a weekday in late February. It’s been about two years since our last visit in April 2024. My daughters are now 4 and 2 (the last time they were 2 and 9 months!), and seeing their growth in how they react to the rides was the highlight of the day.
My eldest is a little daredevil, while my youngest is still wary of roller coasters and the dark. Here is our “Day-of” log on how to balance “kid-friendly fun” with zero stress in the world’s busiest theme park!
🚌 Logistics: Why We Chose the Direct Bus over Hotels
My husband and I were up before 5:00 AM, waking the kids at 5:30 AM. Instead of staying at a nearby hotel, we opted for a direct bus from central Tokyo.
Pro Tip: If you live in Tokyo or are staying at a city hotel for a one-day trip, skip the park hotels! Packing/unpacking is a hassle. The bus drops you right in front of the gate, saving you from navigating train station stairs and crowds with a stroller.
We arrived at 7:45 AM, and the security line was already massive! Since it was a weekday in February, the park was filled with students (high schoolers/uni students), with families making up only about 10–20%.
📱 The “Battle of the Apps”: Quick Terminology
To survive Tokyo Disney, you must master these:
- DPA (Disney Premier Access): Paid fast-pass. You’re essentially buying time.
- Priority Pass: Free fast-pass (limited quantity).
- Child Switch: If a child is too small or scared, parents can take turns riding without waiting twice.
We entered at 9:15 AM. My husband rushed toward the Castle area—better signal for the app! By 9:30 AM, he had secured all our major DPAs and passes. This early-morning speed is the secret to a wait-free day.
🌊 Splash Mountain & Character High-Fives
9:30 AM: First up, Splash Mountain! We were nervous about my 2-year-old’s height (90cm limit), but the cast member cleared her after her curly hair touched the measuring bar. Thank you, curls! 🩷
Wait time was listed as 70 mins, but we were on in 50 mins. I told my eldest, “It only splashes at the end,” so she hid her face in her jacket the entire time—I couldn’t stop laughing! My youngest cried for a second during her first-ever drop but was all smiles afterward. She even went for a high-five with Br’er Fox later!
🍛 Morning Efficiency: Mobile Orders
10:50 AM: Western River Railroad. The dinosaurs at the end were a shock! While in line, my husband used Mobile Order for lunch. Even if restaurant reservations are full, keep refreshing the app for cancellations!
11:40 AM: The Enchanted Tiki Room (Stitch). Zero wait time. To a 2 and 4-year-old, those birds look 100% real.
12:00 PM: Curry at Hungry Bear Restaurant. My youngest fell into a deep sleep and didn’t eat a bite, but thanks to Mobile Order, we had zero wait to pick up our food.
🧞 Afternoon Hustle: Flexibility is Key
1:10 PM: Baymax’s Happy Ride (DPA – 5 min wait). Since the youngest was sleeping, we used Child Switch. My eldest got to ride twice in a row!
1:30 PM: “Minnie & Funderland” Parade. Even without staking out a spot hours early, we saw it perfectly from the back. My sister joined us and gave the girls Minnie sunglasses—total mood booster!
2:05 PM: Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast. The youngest was still napping during our slot, but the staff was so kind: “Come back whenever she wakes up!” We got on in 5 mins with DPA. This ride is worth every penny. Pure magic.
🏴☠️ Pirates, Shows, and Snacks
3:30 PM: Pooh’s Hunny Hunt (Priority Pass – 5 min wait). The girls were waving “Hello, Pooh!” the whole time.
4:00 PM: Pirates of the Caribbean (25 min wait). A bit spooky for them with the darkness and cannons, but a classic experience.
4:50 PM: Coffee liqueur and sandwiches at Cafe Orleans (Mobile Order – No wait).
5:20 PM: Mickey’s Magical Music World at Forest Theatre. I love the shows! This theater is world-class. (Note: JAL Mileage members might have access to better seats—check that before you go!)
👻 Facing Fears at Haunted Mansion
6:00 PM: Haunted Mansion. My youngest was terrified but decided to go because her big sister was. She gripped my knee the whole time but didn’t cry! The next day, she bragged to her nursery teacher about surviving the “Ghost House.” Such a confidence booster!
🎡 The “Luxury” of Playtime & Electrical Parade
1:20 PM: Electrical Parade. We found a spot near Toontown, which is the end of the route. Because the parade takes longer to reach there, it gave the kids time to just run and play in the Toontown park area. This was honestly their favorite part!
8:00 PM: Exit. The moment we hit the bus, both were out cold. Having a seat all the way back to the city was a lifesaver.
💡 Reflection: What I’d Do Differently
- Avoid the Crowds: Fantasy Land was packed with students taking photos. We didn’t linger there.
- The Power of “Blank Space”: As a parent, I’ve realized that at Disney, “rides aren’t everything.” Letting kids jump around and play in the park areas without constantly saying “Be careful!” or “Hurry up!” is the real luxury. Stress-free time is the goal.
- Earlier Food Prep: We got hungry before lunch, but lines were long. Always place your Mobile Order earlier than you think you’ll need it!
